Cindy Dandois responds to King Reina’s call for a rematch: “I am game, Reina is a warrior and we battled our hearts out”

RIZIN lightweight star Cindy Dandois has responded to King Reina‘s call for a rematch.

Dandois is the number-one lightweight fighter in the world.

Dandois (10-3-0) shocked the MMA world this past Friday, defeating King Reina (7-1-0) via split decision to become the new number-one women’s lightweight fighter in the world. Japan’s Reina has long been the woman to beat at 155-pounds. The fact Dandois was able to earn the victory in her opponent’s backyard is indeed one of the most impressive moments of 2017.

However, Reina is not ready to give up her top lightweight position just yet, she recently told the press that she does not believe she lost the fight and wants a rematch as soon as possible. She vows for revenge, after suffering the first loss of her career. Earlier today, Dandois responded to the callout on her Twitter page.

  1. I definitely don’t see the result changing. I think it may be even worse for King Reina. King Reina had no answer for Cindy Dandois jab and she had no answer for the timing of Cindy Dandois takedown attempts. Another fight, Cindy Dandois will just be a whole lot more vicious with ground and pound.
