Cindy Dandois calls out King Reina: “I hope you win tonight, I want to fight you next”

UFC bantamweight Cindy Dandois has her sights set on fighting RIZIN FF welterweight, King Reina. The 32-year-old made the call-out via social media.

King Reina (4-0) is the number-one welterweight fighter in the world. She owns notable victories over UFC veteran Shayna Baszler and a heavyweight competitor in Jazzy Gabert. She returns to action tonight at the RIZIN FF 6 event when she takes on another much bigger heavyweight fighter, Lei’D Tapa. The event will be aired live on pay-per-view from 1am EST. Dandois (8-3) made her UFC debut in April of this year, losing a unanimous decision to Alexis Davis. Prior to joining the UFC, she was a former title challenger for Invicta FC. She owns notable victories over Megan Anderson, Marloes Coenen and Jorina Baars.

Fight fans, what do you think? Would you like to see UFC’s Cindy Dandois take on RIZIN’s King Reina? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

  1. Three weight classes up, and in another organization, not going to happen. But I imagine this was done to give exposure to King Reina. The ladies sticking up for other female fighters. Much props.

  2. I know Cindy well. She aint playing, she wants her or Gabi!
She’s a natural 145er and doesn’t want to keep making 135 anymore just to earn a few bucks.
And she’s been chasing Cyborg for nearly 2 years and its not gonna happen, so she’s challenging UP UP i guess? lol!

    1. Your comment doesn’t make sense, if she chasing Cristiane Cyborg Justino, there are only two women in the UFC Featherweight division, so I don’t think getting a fight with Cristiane Cyborg Justino would be all that hard. Either she wants it or she wants it.

  3. Ohh quick edit note for the article.
She was scheduled to challenge Cris in Invicta for the title but Cris cancelled and chose Daria Imbravia instead 2 weeks out so she never got her “title shot / challenge “.

Tis why she’s been chasing Cris.

*Sorry I hate being “that guy” lol feel free to delete if you like…

    1. No need to be sorry. Now she is in the UFC and like I stated before, the UFC Featherweight division consist of two fighters, Cristiane Cyborg Justino and Megan Anderson, so getting a title shot against Cristiane Cyborg Justino doesn’t seem that hard of a thing to do
