Bethe Correia receives potential six month medical suspension

Last Saturday in Singapore, Bethe Correia (10-3-1) and Holly Holm (11-3) headlined UFC Fight Night 111. The first ten minutes of the bantamweight affair were relatively uneventful– referee Marc Goddard even stepped in at one point to warn the fighters about timidity. Tonya Evinger steps in for Megan Anderson to headline Invicta FC 24

With the breaking news of Cris Cyborg versus Megan Anderson taking place at UFC 214 for the vacant UFC featherweight title, it looked like Invicta FC 24 would be left without a headliner. Things changed though when Invicta announced that their long-reigning bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger (19-5, 1 NC) would step in for Megan Anderson to face Invicta newcomer Helena Kolesnyk (5-0). Cyborg vs Anderson official for featherweight title, de Randamie stripped

It’s official! Earlier today, the UFC confirmed that Cris Cyborg (17-1) will face Megan Anderson (8-2) at UFC 214 for the featherweight championship. In wake of announcing Cyborg vs Anderson for the featherweight belt, the UFC has officially stripped de Randamie of the title.
