Bellator 182 main card gets Veta Arteaga vs Bruna Ellen

Next month at Bellator 182, Veta Arteaga (3-1) will meet Bruna Ellen (3-1) in a women’s flyweight bout on the main card. Arteaga enters the bout off a third round doctor stoppage TKO over Brooke Mayo in February. She has only lost once in her professional career– a controversial split decision to Anastasia Yankova. Ellen, a Brazilian prospect, debuted in Bellator at Bellator 159, losing a unanimous decision to Jessica Middleton. She bounced back at Bellator 171 in January, improving her record to 3-1 with a unanimous decision win against Carmela James. Injury forces Valerie Letourneau out of Bellator 181, Jessica Middleton in

This Friday newly signed Bellator flyweight and former UFC strawweight title challenger Valerie Letourneau (8-6) was scheduled to make her promotional debut against flyweight prospect Emily Ducote (5-2) this Friday at Bellator 181. Unfortunately, Bellator has just announced via Twitter that Letourneau has been forced to withdraw via injury. Flyweight Jessica Middleton (2-1) has stepped in on short notice to face Emily Ducote.
