Bantamweight contender “Alpha” Cat Zingano wants in on the action at UFC 232. The 145-pound title will be on the line on Dec. 29 in Las Vegas as bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes challenges featherweight queen Cris Cyborg in a highly anticipated champion versus champion showdown.
Cyborg has expressed her desire for the UFC to book an alternate opponent just in case and it looks like she has a volunteer.
Cat Zingano, a former bantamweight title challenger who owns a notable 2014 victory over Amanda Nunes, has taken to Twitter to enter herself as the UFC 232 alternate.
Zingano was last seen in action in July, defeating Marion Reneau to snap a three-fight skid.
