Cat Zingano signs bout agreement for UFC return

Popular UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano is expected to make her MMA return in the very near future, following a 16-months hiatus from the sport.

Full details on Zingano’s UFC return will be revealed in the very near future.

Zingano (9-2-0) revealed she has signed a bout agreement and knows her opponent, date and location. The details will be made public in the very near future.

“I have who. I have where. I know when. It’s time. #teamalphacat #alphacatzingano #catzinganomma #acz #ufc #fightlife” Zingano wrote on her Instagram page.

Also known as “Alpha”, the 35-year-old is considered one of the best fighters in the world at bantamweight. She owns notable victories over Amanda Nunes, Miesha Tate and Raquel Pennington. She has never been knocked out in her MMA career. Her sole career losses are to Ronda Rousey and Julianna Pena.

  1. Personally hoping its vs nunes, or Vieira. I like cat but cyborg is probably too much. I’d also like to see her drop to 125.

    1. Doubt if it’s Nunes if it’s any time soon, but both Vieira or Holm are likely opponents. Holm fought 4 times last year and only twice this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cat is trying to angle for Holm. It’s a more prestigious fight and one she probably has a better chance of winning. Unfortunately, that would leave Vieira out of a big name replacement for GDR.
