Cat Zingano: “If I’m at 100 percent, Cris Cyborg can’t even touch me”

UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano is keen for a move up to 145-pounds in a bid to take out Cris Cyborg for the UFC featherweight title.

Zingano is very confident she will be the woman to defeat Cris Cyborg.

Zingano (9-2-0) recently appeared on The MMA Hour and explained exactly why she is so confident when it comes to fighting Cyborg.

With Cyborg, this is a winnable fight for me,” Zingano said. “When I’m healthy, none of these girls (can) deal with me, not one, so that’s what I’m looking for.

Also known as “Alpha”, the 35-year-old is currently ranked the number-seven bantamweight in the UFC’s official media rankings, as well as the WMMA world rankings. She owns notable victories over Amanda Nunes, Miesha Tate and Raquel Pennington. She has never been knocked out in her MMA career, something which Cris Cyborg specializes in.

“Going into a fight with Cyborg, you need to be as on point as possible. She’s got her advantages, whatever, arguably fair or unfair, and I just know that If I’m at 100 percent, she probably can’t even touch me and those are things that are in consideration when trying to achieve my goal.”
