Kristina Williams will step in for an injured Bruna Ellen to battle Valerie Letourneau in a flyweight contest at the Bellator 201 event on June 29.
Letourneau (9-6) makes her second appearance for the organization after a successful promotional debut last December, picking up the unanimous decision win over Kate Jackson. The 35-year-old, also known as “Trouble”, was formerly a member of UFC’s strawweight roster and most notably challenged Joanna Jedrzejczyk at the UFC 193 event in November 2015.
Williams (2-0) has fought all of her professional fights with the organization and continues making statements in all of them. In her pro debut she put an absolute beatdown on Heather Hardy for the second-round TKO win, whilst she picked up the split decision win over former title challenger Emily Ducote this past March.
Bellator 201 takes place on June 29 from the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California, United States. The main card will be aired live on Paramount Network from 9pm EST.
