Tonight at Fight To Win Pro 44, an eagerly anticipated submission grappling contest will go down when Bellator star Brittney Elkin takes on former UFC and Invicta FC veteran, Peggy Morgan. The bout will be contested at 160-pounds.
Elkin (3-4 in MMA) is currently signed to Bellator as part of their featherweight division. In MMA she owns notable victories over Gabrielle Holloway and Kola Shippentower. She is a veteran of the Fight To Win organization, regularly competing in submission matches as part of various different weight-classes. Tonight she looks to make a statement against one of her toughest opponents to date.
Morgan (4-4 in MMA) announced her retirement from the sport of MMA earlier this year. She is most known for competing on the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter 18 back in 2013, as part of Team Rousey. The 37-year-old went on to compete for Invicta FC, picking up impressive victories over the likes of Andria Wawro and Jessy Miele, before retiring. Tonight she makes her combat sports return, this time in grappling competition.
Fight To Win Pro 44 takes place tonight (Saturday) from The Reggie Lewis Center. The event will be aired from 6pm ET live on FloGrappling.
