Brazilian Bantamweight Larissa Moura seeks for her second belt, taking on former Contender Series Mayana Kellen

Larissa Moura (3-1) will face former Contender Series Mayana Kellen (8-1) at Mr. Cage on Oct. 24 for the bantamweight strap in Manaus, Amazonas.

Amazonas’ Moura continues to rise the regional rankings. She won her first belt on March 7 against Elane Macario at the Skull Champions Girls. This became the first all-women MMA fight card in Manaus.

Moura trains at Cosme Júnior Team, where UFC bantamweight Ketlen Vieira trained earlier in her career. With only four pro fights, Moura draws attention in the talented scope of women bantamweights in the Amazonas.

Moura started her career on a loss to Pamela Valente at the Amazonas Regional in 2017. She won her last three bouts, two finishes and one unanimous decision. The bantamweight will make her Mr. Cage debut, meanwhile, Kellen has fought three times under the promotion.

In Dec. 7, Kellen defeated Ana Cristina Costa in the first round via doctor stoppage at Mr. Cage 40. She competed at Dana White’s Contender Series 2018. Mayra Bueno Silva submitted Kellen in the first round via ninja choke.

The women’s bantamweight bout will headline as the main event at 9 p.m. ET on Oct. 24. The fight card will be streamed on TV Maskate’s Facebook page.
