Bobbi-Jo Dalziel vs. Brittney Elkin, lightweight bout | This Saturday, NMEF 65 Main Event | 8pm ET, Streaming Details TBA

An exciting women’s lightweight fight headlines this Saturday’s NMEF 65 event when Bobbi-Jo Dalziel returns to take on Brittney Elkin.

Dalziel vs. Elkin at this Saturday’s NMEF 65 event.

Dalziel (3-0) makes her highly anticipated return to the cage after over two years away from professional MMA competition. The 32-year-old made a huge statement in her last showing in October 2016, dominating Jozette Cotton for the unanimous decision win, in the process handing Cotton her first loss. Dalziel, who many once considered to be the best lightweight fighter in the world, now looks to insert her name back into the rankings and show the world why she is the woman to beat at 155-pounds.

Elkin (3-5) looks to rebound from a first-round submission loss to Olympic Judo Gold Medallist, Kayla Harrison, at the PFL 2 event last June. The 32-year-old, currently ranked number-six in the WMMA Lightweight World Rankings, owns a notable 2015 victory over Bellator veteran, Gabrielle Holloway, as well as a first-round knockout over Kola Shippentower.

No Mercy/NMEF 65 takes place this Saturday January 19 at 7pm EST from the Colorado Springs City Auditorium in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Any live streaming details for the fight between Dalziel vs. Elkin will be announced closer to the event on NMEF’s social media pages.

  1. There aren’t many fights at 155 that I’m interested in seeing but this is one of them. Elkin recently fought Harrison and Dalziel is the only fighter other than Harrison to have defeated Jozette Cotton. The fight might give us some insight as to how Dalziel would match-up against Harrison.
