Bellator 209 took place this Thursday November 15 from the Menora Mivtachim in Tel Aviv, Israel from 4pm EST. However, for fans who were not in attendance and wanting to tune into the action, the main card won’t be aired until Friday November 16 via Paramount Network from 8pm EST.
The event features a highly exciting and very pivotal featherweight bout on the main card when Cindy Dandois makes her promotional debut against the undefeated Olga Rubin.
For fans who don’t want to wait until Friday’s broadcast to find out what happened, the results can be seen below:
Bellator 209 results
Olga Rubin def. Cindy Dandois via unanimous decision
The victory is a huge one for Rubin over a woman who is ranked number-four in the WMMA Featherweight World Rankings and owns wins over the likes of Megan Anderson, Marloes Coenen, Jorina Baars, King Reina and Daria Ibragimova. 29-year-old Rubin now improves to 5-0-0 as a professional mixed martial artist and will likely see a rise in the world rankings upon the next update. With three consecutive victories under the Bellator MMA banner, the ‘Big Bad’ Olga Rubin is likely a front-runner as the next challenger for Julia Budd’s Bellator featherweight title.
