Ireland’s Sinead Kavanagh emerged victorious at the Bellator 187 event earlier tonight, finishing Maria Casanova in just 34-seconds of the very first round by way of a TKO.
Kavanagh improves her record to 5-2-0, successfully rebounding from a two-fight losing streak, following close decision losses to Iony Razafiarison and upcoming featherweight title challenger, Arlene Blencowe. Fighting out of Dublin, Ireland, Kavanagh made her Bellator debut in December 2016, dominating Elina Kallionidou for the unanimous decision win. Prior to making her debut for the organization, she owned impressive first-round knockout wins over Hatice Ozyurt and Katarzyna Sadura.
Casanova drops to 3-6-1 and is now on a three-fight losing streak.
