Ilima-Lei MacFarlane and Emily Ducote have successfully made weight for Friday’s inaugural flyweight title fight at Bellator 186. MacFarlane came in at 124.5 pounds, whilst Ducote weighed in at 123.9 pounds. The pair previously met at the Bellator 167 event in December 2016, with MacFarlane picking up the unanimous decision win.
Since debuting, Macfarlane (6-0) has cemented herself as a front-runner in Bellator’s competitive flyweight division. She’s unbeaten with six wins, three of those by way of submission. The crafty and dangerous grappler last fought in April of 2017, submitting Jessica Middleton with an armbar in the second round.
Oklahoma City’s Emily Ducote (6-2) has been nothing short of impressive in her own right. Ducote currently rides a two-fight win streak. Her sole loss in Bellator comes from a decision to Macfarlane in 2016.
Bellator 186 takes place this Friday 3 November from the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania, United States. The event airs live on Spike TV from 9pm EST.
