Bellator 181 Results: Amanda Bell victorious in her promotional debut

Friday night at Bellator 181, featherweight contender Amanda Bell defeated Brittney Elkin by way of a TKO at 4:56 of the second round.

Bell improves her record to 5-4-0. The 28-year-old, also known as the “The Lady Killer”, has won five of her last seven fights. Her most recent loss comes to Invicta FC featherweight champion, Megan Anderson.

Elkin drops to 3-4-0. The 31-year-old was also making her promotional debut, following a first round TKO victory over Kola Shippentower back in June 2016. She owns a notable victory over fellow Bellator MMA featherweight, Gabrielle Holloway.

Bellator 181 took place on Friday July 14, 2017 from the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The main card was aired live on Spike TV, with the prelims airing on Spike.com.

  1. Okay Bellator, please no more Amanda Bell vs Brittney Elkin rematches. Amanda Bell is now 2-0 versus Brittney Elkin with 2 finishes, so there is no need for a 3rd Amanda Bell vs Brittney Elkin fight. I hated that Brittney Elkin stepped in as a late replacement for Alexis Dufresne in her Bellator debut. It would have been nice to see her have a full fight camp being prepared for her opponent.
