Bellator 180 Free Fight: Heather Hardy brings “the heat”

Tonight at Bellator 180 in New York City, Heather “The Heat” Hardy makes her highly anticipated MMA and Bellator debut. Brooklyn’s Hardy (0-0) is a decorated boxer who holds a record of 20-0, with four knockouts– she now sets her sights on conquering the MMA world. Before Hardy takes on Alice Yauger (4-5) on tonight’s SpikeTV main card, check out this incredible boxing bout.

In August of last year, Heather Hardy faced longtime rival Shelly Vincent in a brutal 10-round contest for the WBC international women’s title on the first televised women’s fight to air on NBCSN. After 10 hard, aggressive rounds the majority decision was awarded to Hardy, who then improved her record to 18-0. Humble in victory, Hardy and her rival briefly embraced as the hometown Coney Island crowd erupted in cheers.
