Bellator 167: A star emerges, Hawaiian beauty Ilima-Lei MacFarlane gets the victory, still undefeated

The 125lb flyweight division may have just found themselves a new star and contender for top status. Hawaii’s Ilima-Lei MacFarlane “The Iliminator” has defeated Emily Ducote via unanimous decision at Bellator 167.

ilima-2MacFarlane has been on a roll this year. In January she defeated Amber Tackett via round 1 armlock at Bellator 148, in June she defeated Rebecca Ruth with a round 2 choke. Her win against Ducote now improves her record to 5-0-0. She previously enjoyed a successful amateur career, also with a record of 5-0-0 before she turned pro.

MacFarlane is a woman to watch out for as we approach 2017. She’s a very skilled fighter, and a dangerous opponent to anyone in the 125lb division as well as having a very marketable image.
