Former UFC flyweight and Bare Knuckle FC champion, “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings, is set to make her Bellator debut at Bellator 231 on Oct. 25 versus fellow promotional newcomer Ilara Joanne.
Following a 3-0 championship run in Bare Knuckle FC, Bec Rawlings (7-8) is set to make her return to MMA.
Rawlings made her way into the UFC as a strawweight after appearing on season 20 of The Ultimate Fighter. After going 2-3 in the strawweight division, she moved up to 125 pounds.
Rawlings dropped her next two bouts at flyweight and would go on to part ways with the UFC.
From there, Rawlings ventured into bare-knuckle boxing. Rawlings captured the Police Gazette Bare Knuckle championship and defended it twice with victories over Alma Garcia, Britain Hart and Cecilia Flores.
Once her BKFC contract expired, Rawlings signed with Bellator where she’ll meet Ilara Joanne in her debut match.
Brazil’s Joanne (8-4) enters the promotion riding a two-fight win streak. Of her eight victories, four come by way of KO/TKO and two by way of submission.
