Bare Knuckle FC 1 weigh-in results: Saturday’s historic women’s bare knuckle boxing fight is made official

‘Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 1: The Beginning’ takes place this Saturday June 2 from the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. The event will be aired live on pay-per-view from 9pm EST.

One of the most talked about bouts on the card is a women’s 125-pound contest between MMA veteran Bec Rawlings and professional boxer Alma Garcia.

Rawlings and Garcia will become the first ladies to ever compete in a sanctioned women’s bare knuckle boxing fight. Additionally, the event will mark the first legal, regulated, and sanctioned bare knuckle boxing event in the United States since the year 1889. Held under the control of the Wyoming Combative Sports Commission, headed by Chairman Bryan Pedersen, the 12 bout card will feature only established professional fighters, who have competed in boxing, MMA, kickboxing, and Muay Thai. The organization expects to hold a total of three events this year, with nine planned for 2019.
