Arlene Blencowe breaks hand, loses decision in boxing match

Aussie WMMA fighter Arlene “Angerfist” Blencowe fought fellow Australian Deanha Hobbs at the Brisbane Convention Centre under the DDP Sports: Revolution banner.

It did not go her way, as the Facebook post below shares the results:

Broke my hand in the 1st round.. oops 😬
Went the distance but didn’t get the win, no shame in that. However, I am coming home with some answers to the questions I have been asking myself. That itself is priceless!
Now to recover and get me back to

Blencowe fights in MMA with Bellator, and as a boxer, competes for the WIBA and WBF. In Bellator, she last competed against Julia Budd in a unsuccessful bid for the featherweight title.

Here’s hoping her hand heals soon, and we see her in the Bellator cage shortly afterwards.
