Ariane Lipski removed from UFC Fight Night 140 after promotion fails to find replacement opponent

First reported by Matheus Costa for MMA Brasil, the UFC was unable to find a replacement opponent to face Ariane Lipski at UFC Fight Night 140 in Argentina.

The former KSW flyweight champion and highly-touted “Violence Queen” was scheduled to make her eagerly awaited UFC debut next month at Fight Night 140 in Buneos Aires.

The flyweight bout originally featured Veronica Macedo taking on Maryna Moroz. Macedo was forced to withdraw due to injury and Lipski stepped in to face Moroz.

Earlier this week, Moroz was pulled from the fight due to a broken foot suffered during training. Lipski has since been removed from the card and awaits a new opponent and date.
