“The Violence Queen” Ariane Lipski is set to defend her flyweight title.
Ariane Lipski will face Silvana Gomez Juarez for the KSW flyweight championship at KSW 42 in Lodz, Poland, on March 3.
Lipski (10-3) is one of the most highly touted flyweight prospects. The 24-year-old Brazilian currently rides an eight-fight win streak, with four of those winds coming under the KSW banner. This will be her second title defense. Of Lipski’s ten career wins, six come by way of KO/TKO and two by way of submission. She was last seen in action in October at KSW 40 in Dublin, Ireland, submitting Invicta FC vet Mariana Morais via rear-naked choke in the first round.
Her opponent is Argentinian fighter Silvana Gomez Juarez (6-1). The sole loss of Juarez’s professional career comes from UFC fighter Poliana Botelho. Oddly, Juarez is scheduled to face Sabina Mazo for the vacant LFA flyweight title in the LFA 35 headliner on March 9, exactly one week from her scheduled bout with Lipski.
Both cards are billing Juarez in championship bouts. At this time, there is no clarification as to whether Juarez will compete in both bouts or not.
