Angela Magana has challenged fellow UFC strawweight, Alexandra Albu, to a twerk off and an MMA fight.
Magana made the call-out via her social media pages.
“There are all these challenges going on. Starting the twerk challenge. First person I challenge is Alexandra Albu, show me your best effort girl. I can do anything better than you. First twerk off then the UFC cage” Magana wrote on Facebook.
Also known as ‘Your Majesty’, Magana (11-8-0) is a veteran of the sport who has been fighting since the year of 2007. She is currently on a four-fight losing streak when it comes to professional competition, dropping fights to some of the toughest competitors in the world including Michelle Waterson, Tecia Torres and Jessica Eye. Despite the losses, Magana has enjoyed a lot of success, with notable victories over Jessica Aguilar, Barb Honchak and Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc.
Albu (7-0) is coming off a decision victory over Kailin Curran at the recent UFC 214 event. The 27-year-old made her UFC debut back in 2015, submitting Izabela Badurek in the second round by way of a Guillotine Choke. Many MMA media sites including Tapology and Sherdog list Albu’s record as 3-0. This has led many to critisize the UFC for signing Albu when she was apparently only 1-0 as a professional. However, Albu reveals she was actually 5-0 when she first signed to the UFC, improving to 7-0 with her wins over Badurek and Curran. The UFC also acknowledges her 7-0 record, as shown during her two fights and on their official website. She has finished six of her seven career victories, four wins by KO and two by submission (armbar, guillotine).
