Per Nolan King (@mma_kings) via Twitter, an exciting flyweight bout has been added to UFC’s debut in Chile on May 19 between Andrea “KGB” Lee and Veronica Macedo.
Lee (8-2) is one of the highest touted flyweight prospects. She is the former LFA flyweight champion and a former Invicta FC standout. Lee was slated to make her UFC debut at UFC 216 last year, but was forced out of the bout due to not being in the USADA testing pool for long enough. Six months later, she is eligible to compete and will do so against a formidable foe.
The 22-year-old Venezulean (5-1-1) made her UFC in 2016, falling to Ashlee Evans-Smith via third round TKO. Undersized for the bantamweight division, Macedo will be moving down to 125 pounds.
Who will you be rooting for?
