Andrea “KGB” Lee talks Invicta FC 23 opponent, TUF 26

Ahead of her Invicta FC 23 fight against Liz Tracy, budding star Andrea “KGB” Lee spoke with Laura Sanko backstage.

Lee, 6-2, will look to score her third consecutive win on Saturday. She last fought under Legacy Fighting Alliance, capturing the flyweight title by submitting Heather Bassett via third round arm bar. Over the part year, “KGB” Lee’s popularity has skyrocketed.

Earlier today, in an exclusive Fight Pass backstage interview, Laura Sanko asked Lee her thoughts on her upcoming opponent, UFC’s flyweight division, and more.

On Liz Tracy, her Invicta FC 23 adversary:

I think she’s tough. She’s a pressure fighter. She’s gonna come forward, she can take a solid beating. I mean I’ve seen her fights, she’s a really tough girl. She’s gonna be hard to finish, I don’t know if this is gonna go three rounds or not. I wanna get the finish, but if it goes three rounds, it’s still gonna be an exciting fight.

On The Ultimate Fighter 26, women’s flyweight season:

I think it’s an exciting opportunity. It’s just so close to this fight…I don’t think that I’m going to be able to go and try out for TUF. I feel like I’d miss out on my daughter’s summer, and her first graduation– she’s graduating from kindergarten– and I wanna be there for that. And also I feel like, I’ll get to sit at home and do homework on all the girls that are in the house…It would be great, ya know, to have that opportunity to be the first flyweight champion, and I want that, I just think, maybe it’s not necessarily the path for me. But I still plan on being UFC champion one way or another.
