Andrea “KGB” Lee to make her UFC debut at #UFC216, faces Kalindra Faria

MMAFighting.com has reported that LFA flyweight champion and Invicta FC fan favorite, Andrea “KGB” Lee, will be making her UFC debut next week on October 7th in Las Vegas, NV, at UFC 216 against Kalinda Faria.

With the unfortunate removal of Paige VanZant vs Jessica Eye  at UFC 216 next week, fight fans will now have another flyweight bout to look forward to as Andrea “KGB” Lee (8-2) takes on Kalindra Faria (18-5-1).

Lee is considered by many to be one of the best 125ers in the world. She is the current LFA flyweight champion, having defended her title against Jamie Thorton at LFA 23 just six days ago.  Lee has not only established herself in LFA, but also in Invicta FC with wins over the likes of Ariel Beck, Racheal Ostovich-Berdon, Liz Tracy and Heather Basset. “KGB” is a well-rounded fighter with a dangerous ground game and nasty Muay Thai skills. Of her eight career victories, six are stoppages.

Opposite Lee at UFC 216 will be Kalindra Faira. Since 2009, Faria has amassed a record of 18-5-1, with seven knockouts and five submissions to her name. The Brazilian native last fought in September of 2016, defeating Carina Damm via unanimous decision. Her five career losses have come against top competition– including UFC stars Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Claudia Gadelha, Jessica Aguilar, and Invicta’s Vanessa Porto.
