Amanda Ribas signs with the UFC, set to battle Juliana Lima on July 7

Strawweight prospect Amanda Ribas is set to make her UFC debut on July 7 when she takes on Juliana Lima at the TUF 25 Finale.

Ribas will make her UFC debut on July 7.

Ribas (6-1-0) is one of the most talked about prospects in the division and will finally make her debut for the premier MMA organization. The 23-year-old Brazilian trains out of Marcelo Ribas Team and has won six of her last seven. She owns two submission victories, as well as three TKO/KO wins. The last time she fought was almost a year ago when she knocked out Jennifer Gonzalez Araneda in the second round at Max Fight 18.

Lima (9-3-0), also Brazilian, is a UFC veteran who trains at Gracie Barra Belo Horizonte. Also known as ‘Ju Thai’, the 35-year-old has won three of her five UFC fights. Her losses come to current and former UFC strawweight world champions in  Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Carla Esparza.

The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale takes place on July 7th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
