Amanda Nunes: “I have nothing personal against Cris Cyborg but this is the fight that everyone wants to see”

UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes has spoken out about her desire to fight featherweight champ, Cris Cyborg.

Nunes wants Cris Cyborg.

Earlier this week, UFC president Dana White told the press that Cyborg vs. Nunes is the fight he plans on making next. Cyborg quickly fired back saying she is not interested in fighting Nunes and is fed up of fighting 135-pound fighters, she wants the UFC to establish a real 145-pound division.

Nunes (15-4-0) has now made an official statement. She says she has nothing against Cyborg, but believes the superfight between the pair is the fight which the fans want to see. Take a look below:

  1. This fight has no heat and there is zero reason for having Justino and Nunes matched up against each other. And no one wants to watch this except the internet UFC fans, which isn’t enough to create a buzz. This is what happens when the UFC uses a fighter as basically a shoe horse. There are no real challengers for Cristiane Cyborg Justino because she is fighting in a non-existent division in the UFC.
