Zappitella (5-0, 1 NC) picked up a huge win last weekend at the Invicta FC 33 event, defeating former title challenge Amber Brown via unanimous decision. Cummins (7-4) has beaten everyone she’s fought at atomweight bar the reigning champ, Frey, whom she lost to via unanimous decision back in July 2017. The 31-year-old feels as though she has made significant improvements in her MMA game since the fight and is keen to avenge her only ever loss in the women’s 105-pound division. She is currently ranked number-two in the WMMA World Atomweight Rankings.
