Alaska FC 136 takes place this Wednesday January 17 from the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. The main card will be aired live on UFC Fight Pass from 11:59pm EST.

A women’s 165-pound welterweight fight is featured on the main card when Maura Tynanes takes on Holli Salazar. Ahead of the event, both women have successfully made weight. Tynanes weighed in at 165lbs, whilst Salazar stepped onto the scale at 163lbs.
Tynanes (1-0) trains at the Jesus is Lord gym in Hawaii, along with UFC star, Rachael Ostovich. She made her professional debut this past March for the AFC, choking out Avril Straub in the very first round. Prior to making the move to MMA, Tynanes, who was undefeated as an amateur, already had a background in combat sports, being a former collegiate/freestyle wrestler who placed second at nationals during her first year in college, she is also a black belt division naga championship winner.

Salazar (0-0) will be making her professional debut following a successful amateur run in which she’s coming off an impressive 40-second submission win over Camee Adams. Salazar fights out of Colorado and currently trains at the Golden Fights Cage Wars MMA Gym.
